Come together to honor Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrate the return of CAAM’s in-person King Day festivities! This year’s theme is “MLK: A Legacy of Service” and the program includes a performance by the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, the King Study Group, family activities, crafts, food trucks, and more!

Listen to a recording of King’s 1967 speech at Riverside Church in New York City, "Time to Break the Silence," then participate in a group discussion about how his words relate to our lives today.

Storytellers from the Los Angeles Public Library read inspiring and delightful children’s books about Martin Luther King Jr. and how to build a better world.

Concert
The Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles returns to CAAM to present their crowd-favorite musical tribute to MLK.
